Bags of Hope

Bags of Hope, a program of Jeremiah Castille Foundation, gives book bags filled with school supplies to students. Since the inception of the program in 2008 we have reached approximately 2,500 disadvantaged students. In addition to the book bags filled with supplies, Jeremiah personally visits the school, provides a powerful message to the community and assist in the distribution of the book bags.

Our first Bags of Hope program was at J. D. Davis Elementary School in Columbus, Georgia, the school Jeremiah attended as a child.  We continue each year to carefully select the schools we honor. This picture will give you a visual view of the joy and excitement that the children experience during “Bags of Hope”.  The pride that they have knowing that they are prepared with the materials needed to accomplish the educational task before them is the beginning to a successful school year.   Without the necessary supplies, little can be accomplished.
